GOALS
The DMP (Digital Marine Litter Passport) project 's main objective is to develop an innovative digital solution for the traceability and sustainable management of marine litter, integrating circular economy principles. This initiative seeks to transform marine litter into valuable resources , while promoting transparency in its management and fostering ocean sustainability.

MARINE WASTE COLLECTION
Collaboration with fishermen to remove marine debris from the sea, encouraging their active involvement in environmental protection.

Development of a digital platform for marine litter traceability
Creation of a tool that enables comprehensive traceability of marine waste, improving its management and promoting the circular economy.

Interviews with fishermen
Identifying the impact of marine litter on fishing communities and gathering information to design useful solutions at both the social and environmental levels in order to measure the social impact of the voluntary work they carry out.

Materials testing
Evaluating collected waste to explore its reuse and recycling, moving toward the development of new materials that integrate marine waste into sustainable value chains.
